Music Review
I recently dove into Jackie Hill Perry's new EP, "Practice," and wow, what a refreshing return to music! After a six-year break, it's clear she's back and better than ever, making waves with this collaboration with Reach Records. The EP consists of eight vibrant tracks that highlight her unique style and powerful lyrics.
One of my absolute favorites has to be the single “Pick It Up.” It's so infectious and has this great upbeat vibe. The production is top-notch too, thanks to the impressive teamwork of names like S1 and Epikh Pro. You can really feel the energy and passion in every song.
What I love most about "Practice" is how Jackie manages to blend her Christian message with a modern sound, drawing you in from the first listen. It feels like an invitation to step into her world and experience her artistry in a fresh way. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly recommend giving it a listen!
PRACTICE is not just about music; Jackie aims for it to be encouraging and uplifting. It’s refreshing to hear an album that invites listeners to engage with their faith and personal growth. I found myself really connecting with the themes she explores, and it’s definitely an album I can see myself returning to in different moments of life. If you’re looking for music that encourages you in your walk with Jesus, this album is worth a listen!
