The city has produced some of the genre’s most iconic talents, from Redman to The Fugees, and continues to be a hub of artistic influence.


Datin, also known by his moniker “Triple D,” stands firmly within this legacy while carving out his own innovative and life-changing path. As an independent artist, he sharpened his lyrical and performance skills at the renowned New York City open mic series End of the Weak (EOW). He went on to compete in multiple facets of the EOW MC Challenge, including the “MC Challenge of Champions,” the “Team MC Challenge,” the televised “MC Challenge TV Show,” and international competitions, establishing himself as a versatile and respected emcee.


Of Puerto Rican descent, Datin is an American Christian hip-hop musician who has consistently used his platform to deliver impactful, faith-driven music. His discography includes projects such as Turn It Off Vol. 1, The Roar, The Menace Mixtape, and Hell in the Hallway, along with numerous features on albums by other prominent artists.
