Biography & Background
Survivor Q, born Jermaine, was raised in Inglewood, California, and born on March 31st. At 16, he faced the devastating loss of his brother, which led him to drop out of school and become involved in gang life. That path brought with it smoking, drinking, poor decisions, and harsh experiences.
Despite it all, Jermaine had a foundation in faith—he was raised in the church and always knew who God was. Through God’s grace, he never lost that faith. In 2005, he rededicated his life to Christ and began a new chapter.
He earned the name Survivor Q because he survived the streets—and came out on the other side.
