Miles Minnick and Lecrae have released a mixtape titled 'Get Well Soon'

Lecrae and Miles Minnick have officially released their eagerly awaited joint mixtape, Get Well Soon, and the vibes are distinctly West Coast! This joint mixtape was announced in April 2025 and launched in May. It showcases a West Coast sound while delving into themes of faith and culture. Now available for streaming everywhere through Reach Records, Get Well Soon offers a project that is both therapeutic and energetic.

From the very beginning, Lecrae and Miles Minnick didn’t just release singles like “On Time” and “Heaven Sent” — they strategically built hype around them, creating a wave of momentum that went beyond just putting out music. For example, “Heaven Sent” didn’t just quietly drop on streaming platforms; they debuted it live at Rolling Loud California, one of the biggest hip-hop festivals, instantly putting it in front of a massive, engaged audience. That live performance helped stamp the track with cultural relevance and gave it an immediate boost in visibility.

But the real genius came in how they engaged fans beyond the music itself.

They designed the rollout like an immersive experience. They organized scavenger hunts that got fans directly involved, where people had to solve clues to uncover the official tracklist — turning what’s usually a passive announcement into an interactive event. They also hosted immersive listening sessions in Los Angeles, curated by DJ Hed, and in Atlanta, creating intimate spaces where fans, influencers, and media could connect with the project on a deeper level. These weren’t just standard press events; they were crafted to make attendees feel part of something special and exclusive.

Adding to the hype, they ran a YouTube livestream with Kato On The Track, one of the project’s key producers. This gave fans a first listen to the project before it hit streaming platforms — an insider moment that helped generate organic buzz across social media.

To keep momentum going, Lecrae and Miles didn’t just rely on fan events. They sat down for a deep-dive conversation with Sway Calloway on Sway’s Universe, where they positioned the project as “culture-shifting” — a bold statement that framed Get Well Soon as more than just another drop, but as something meant to shake up the scene and push boundaries. Lecrae also amplified the narrative by appearing on Hot 107.9’s Chosen Journey, offering another layer of insight into the heart and intention behind the project.

In short, they weren’t just releasing music; they were crafting a movement, layering live performances, media appearances, fan activations, and behind-the-scenes access to create a 360-degree experience. All of this points to the fact that Get Well Soon isn’t just an album — it’s a moment designed to make waves across both faith-based and mainstream hip-hop circles, with even more surprises still to come.

The mixtape 'Get Well Soon' includes prominent features from artists like E-40, DJ Mal-Ski, YeloHill, Tommy Zuko, and CJ Emulous. Additionally, the duo has just unveiled a cinematic visual for "The Method" featuring Bay Area icon E-40. The video captures a vibe-heavy, West Coast essence.
