Higher Calling by Edify is filled with hard hitting beats mixed with lyricism and punchlines through the first few songs of the album. Edify then transitions into worship with his song "Give You All" featuring West Coast singer and talk box artist Miracle. Another song worth highlighting is the "On God Remix" featuring two other Grand Rapids based artists Kevi Morse and Tvnk who add new energy to the already high powered song. Midway through the project Edify adds a melodic twist with his singing on "Fly Away" and "We Alright" that leaves listeners with a wavy vibe. The album concludes with three deeply personal/emotional songs that will pull on the listeners heartstrings with "Don't Wanna Die feat. DreBeeze Da Godson", "I Love You", and "Say Goodbye" co-produced by Grammy nominated producer B-Coe productions. As a bonus track Edify collaborated on an EDM Mix with DJ Maco for his song "On God" featuring Word Entertainment artist Steven Malcolm that integrates a dance feel opening up to a global audience.
